This course focuses on the development of academic vocabulary, reading, and critical thinking skills through extensive readings of college-level material in English.

Footnote InformationESL-472.02Z: This is a hybrid class with ONE WEEKLY SCHEDULED MEETING that takes place online via synchronous Zoom meeting. The rest of the class can be completed independently each week on the student's own time. Students must have access to a computer, the internet and an individual email address. Most De Anza classes will use the Canvas course management system.
