Critical Reading, Writing and Thinking
Course Description
This course allows students to develop critical thinking skills and the ability to apply these skills to reading and writing. Students will practice analytical and argumentative academic essays based on the reading of complex texts, and the use of outside research leading to analysis, comparison and synthesis, and a documented research paper.

EWRT 2.02A: Open to all students who meet normal course prerequisites, have been accepted by formal application to the Study Abroad Florence program and have paid a program fee of ~$3,400 (which may include Financial Aid) plus airfare. All classes require permission of the instructor, Dr. Karen Chow, chowkaren@fhda.edu. Majority of course work takes place in Florence, Italy.
